Share your favourite or most meaningful moment you’ve experienced as a hospice volunteer.
Canuck Place makes so many amazing things happen for the kids. I would have to say one of my favorite moments was when Mason Raymond stopped by the hospice to bring a child a signed hockey stick and jersey during the excitement of the play offs last year.
Why volunteer? What brought you to Canuck Place?
To me, the idea of Canuck Place is simply amazing. It’s a place where families can come to and be completely taken care of without having to worry about a thing except spending time with their child. I volunteer here because it’s therapeutic for me; seeing what the families go through is a constant reminder of what is truly important in life.
