Canuck Place Volunteers’ stories included in latest publication
A recent book by Volunteer Vancouver, A People Lens: 101 Ways to Move Your Organization Forward features the story of Canuck Place volunteers – Diana & Gord Bacon
The Bacons share their experience of volunteering -- download an excerpt* of the book [1 page PDF].
As founding members of the Garden Crew, the Bacons have vast experience and have dedicated countless hours to volunteering. You can still find them working on the Hospice grounds and gardens with other members of the team each Saturday, as well as helping at special events.
Thank you to the Bacons and all our valued volunteers for their continued support and dedication to Canuck Place!
Published in May, the book provides stories of inspiration and innovation involving volunteer participation and engagement. Visit the Volunteer Vancouver website – www.voluntervancouver.ca to download your copy of the e-book, or to order a hard copy.
