When Meghan and Kayleigh Garland told their mother that they wanted to have a bake sale, they were encouraged to choose where the money should go.  Canuck Place was the lucky choice! 

With the baking help of neighbours and their friends and neighbours as customers, the girls have raised $100 in each of the past 2 years for a $200 total. 

That is a lot of baking but their generosity shows that even the smallest idea can swell into a significant event. Thank you to Nadine, Meghan and Kayleigh and all those who tasted the treats and gave!
