For Lucas's 8th birthday he invited 20 of his friends to join him at a local community centre to take part in his favourite sport, hockey.  The party wasn't all hockey though, Lucas asked his friends to bring money for a  donation to Canuck Place instead of receiving presents.  After all the celebrating he was able to make a donation of $300!  This is the second year that Lucas has donated his birthday money to a charity.
