Although Brendan doesn't know anyone who has ever had to use Canuck Place's services he became inspired to help while watching the Canucks for Kids Telethon.  After listening to heartwarming stories of children who had made donations to help their peers under care of the Hospice, Brendan decided for his 12th birthday that he would take a similar lead by asking his friends to bring money to his party instead of presents.  In this selfless act of generosity, Brendan was able to raise $320 for the children and families at Canuck Place!  Brendan proudly hopes his donation will inspire others to help in their own small ways.
