Close connection inspires school
Wanting to support a fellow student who had a sibling on the Canuck Place program, students at John Oliver Secondary School organized a fundraising campaign that involved collecting donations over a couple of months.
A poster board was set up so students and parents could learn more about Canuck Place and donation cans were available for contributions.
After the fundraising was finished a Canuck Place representative attended a school assembly to thank the students and receive a donation of $2,600!
