Legacy Donations include:

• Memorial Gifts to honour the memory of someone special
• Tribute Gifts to honour a family member, relative, friend or colleague who has touched you
• Planned Giving - a bequest gift

Memorial Gifts -- Canuck Place will send a notification letter to the next of kin advising of the gift.

To make a Memorial Gift:

• online: 'Make a Donation' - choose "donation in recognition / honour of someone" & fill out Step 6: In Honour / Memory Of; or
• call 604.731.4847 (toll-free in BC 1.877.882.2288) to donate by phone using your credit card

A Tribute Gift allows you to say a special “thank you” or to celebrate an accomplishment such as a birthday, anniversary, graduation or award. Canuck Place will send an announcement of your Tribute Gift to the person being honoured. The amount of the gift remains confidential.

A Planned Gift is an excellent way to support the important work of Canuck Place well into the future. It gives you the opportunity to leave a lasting legacy of love within the context of sound financial planning and estate planning. 

Planned Giving can and often does result in significant tax advantages for the donor. Planned Giving can take the form of wills and bequests, life insurance, RRSPs, charitable trusts and property.
