Building Bridges and Community at the
2nd Annual Canuck Place Creative Challenge!

The Abbotsford Firefighters and Ambulance Paramedics of BC, two of the twenty corporate challengers at this year's Creative Challenge, squared off against each other to build a LEGO creation inspired by one of the many fun facts about Canuck Place Children's Hospice.

Two days of LEGO building at Sevenoaks Shopping Centre in Abbotsford, BC, made for some friendly competition among corporate builders as well as some pretty happy kids and parents, too!  Over 400 children joined in the LEGO fun alongside LEGO Master Robin Sather, who designed and built a 4 foot tall, 8 foot wide butterfly exclusively for Canuck Place.  Robin also designed a miniature LEGO creation that could be built into a butterfly, an airplane or a robot, available for $5 each and could be taken home as a token of the event.

Robin, Curtis Pope of Country 107.1 and Canuck Place family Nelia, Andrew, Olivia and Isaiah Evans made up our judging panel and deliberated thoughtfully over all the amazing creations on display.
