Over $30,000 raised!  

3rd Annual Hospice Hustle a Great Success

Thanks to the support, participation and fundraising efforts of 100 HUSTLERS, the 3rd annual Canuck Place Hospice Hustle on June 9, 2012, was a fantastic success, surpassing all fundraising goals and raising just over $32,500 for Canuck Place kids and families.

"We are so grateful to everyone involved, from our partners and sponsors, our incredible staff and volunteers, the city of Abbotsford and communities of the Fraser Valley, and of course, the courageous children and families, who came together to hustle for Canuck Place Children's Hospice this year.  Thank you!"

Special shout-outs to Mayor of Abbotsford, Bruce Banman, and Deputy Mayor Les Barkman (affectionately dubbed the "B-Boys" in honour of the Hustle's disco theme) for coming out to mix, mingle and run for Canuck Place.  Also, shout-outs are in order to Fin from the Vancouver Canucks, and Canuck Place therapy dog Poppy, who acted as the official Hustle mascots and led participants off at the start of the race.  Thank you to our friends, Innovative Fitness, for their fantastic warm-up and continued partnership.
