The children & family of Canuck Place had a busy Halloween... even before it came time to trick or treat!
Enjoying the morning sunshine, many of the families took in the colourful and scary displays amongst the grounds of Canuck Place as set up by volunteers from UPS and our own garden crew.
In the early afternoon there was a special visit by the Vancouver Police Department's Motorcycle squad. The VPD Motorcycle squad rode up on their bikes with lights flashing and sirens sounding to drop off Halloween treats and to pose with the children. View photos
The next activity saw the children return inside to the kitchen to carve pumpkins and decorate cupcakes. The remainder of the day was spent preparing for the evening’s trick or treating, including dressing up with face paint and making a 'human spider web'. All-Hallows Eve concluded with eating popcorn and viewing scary movies.
Thank you to the Vancouver Police Department Motorcycle Squad, UPS and our tireless volunteers who made Halloween special for all the kids! Happy Halloween!
