Steve Williams presents Laura Fielding with proceeds of 2009 Charity Pumpkin Display
Proceeds support Canuck Place
"The Pumpkin Guy" (& BC Ambulance Service member), Steve Williams, recently presented Laura Fielding, Canuck Place's Recreational Therapist, with proceeds from his annual Charity Pumpkin Display.
This year, over $1,500 in donations were received from the public as they visited the festive 400+ jack-o-lantern display at Steve's West Vancouver home during the week before Halloween.
This past Halloween, Canuck Place children and families also had an opportunity to view the elaborately carved pumpkins during a special field trip outing.
For the last 19 years, through the public's generosity and Steve's dedication to our cause, his Charity Pumpkin Display has raised over $14,500 for the Hospice.
Thank you Steve and your dedicated group of volunteers from BC Ambulance Paramedics for donating your time to help raise money in a very creative way for the care of children and their families at Canuck Place. We are so grateful for your support!
