Year-end tournament benefits Canuck Place
Vancouver Minor Hockey Association and Showcase Sports hosted their fourth annual Canuck Place Charity Hockey Tournament over the Christmas break.
With over 60 teams from all over the region involved there was plenty of action and over $5,000 was raised for Canuck Place!
The tournament featured amazing raffle baskets, 50/50 draws and a great deal of generosity and good will. In addition, the Langley Atom LY5 team took on a project within the event and by collecting coins, raised an additional $190.
We are so very grateful for the heartfelt support from the community and for kids helping kids.
The organization and energy of Nick Ten, Marilyn Carr, Rochelle Wallace and so many others truly does help us continue to provide for the children and families at Canuck Place. Thank You!
