Shaw employees pose for photo after presenting cheque to Canuck Place
Shaw Employees help raise $33,034
This past holiday season Shaw employees joined together to raise funds for local charities through an initiative named the Shaw Season of Warmth. Employees were given the opportunity to purchase ornaments in the shape of mitts, toques, socks or coats to decorate Christmas trees at Shaw locations.
The proceeds from the sale of these ornaments in addition to raffles held by employees in the Vancouver area raised $16,517. Subsequently these funds were matched by Shaw Communications helping raise $33,034 for Canuck Place Children's Hospice.
