Chocolate making with Thomas Haas

Thomas Haas Fine Chocolates & Patisserie deliver Easter spirit to Canuck Place

Thomas Haas and four of his staff brought the sweet smell of chocolate to Canuck Place Wednesday afternoon, helping children and families create beautifully decorated easter eggs and bunnies made of chocolate.

With the assistance of the chocolate wizards from Thomas Haas Fine Chocolates & Patisserie the children applied freshly melted white and milk chocolate to moulds in the shape of easter eggs and bunnies.

Despite the plethora of chocolate, Thomas Haas also prepared fresh batches of delicious chocolate truffles for everyone to enjoy as they worked on their chocolate creations.

Thank you to Thomas Haas and your staff for helping to bring sweet smiles to Canuck Place children and their families this Easter!  This was truly a special event enjoyed by all.

Sweet Chocolate Karma! - If Karma were a flavour it would be chocolate!

Thomas Haas Fine Chocolates & Patisserie featured an Easter promotion and benefit for the Hospice whereby patrons could enter to win one of four unique Easter themed chocolates weighing over 35lbs.  One of the winners of the spectacular chocolate creations was a Canuck Place volunteer!

Joanne, a family volunteer, immediately thought of Canuck Place and donated her winning chocolate – a giant bunny – back to the kids at the Hospice.

As Joanne noted: “there is no better place for this rabbit then its home at Canuck Place. When Thomas helped me carry the rabbit to the van, he shared how special it was for him to go to the Hospice earlier in the week.”

Thank you Joanne sharing your good fortune!
