CANUCK PLACE URGES EVERYONE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT PALLIATIVE CARE DURING NATIONAL HOSPICE WEEK
VANCOUVER, B.C. – National Hospice Palliative Care Week (NHPCW) 2008 will take place from Sunday, May 4 to Saturday, May 10, 2008. The week-long campaign focuses on celebrating, recognizing, and sharing the achievements of hospice palliative care while raising awareness across
“We want to encourage all British Columbians to find out more about the importance and growing need for palliative care in their province, particularly for children with life-threatening illnesses,” said Filomena Nalewajek, CEO for Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.
The week is nationally coordinated by the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association, an association which provides leadership in hospice palliative care and end-of-life care.
