End-of-Life Care

End-of-life care involves comprehensive services, including 24-hour nursing care, for a child and family when the child’s death is expected to be imminent.

Requests for end-of-life care can come at any time and have the highest priority for an admission to Canuck Place. If the family chooses to remain at home, consultation medical and nursing services are available 24 hours per day.
