Background on the Clinic

How did the Clinic come to be?

Madison Clinic was named in honor of a child who was cared for by both BC Children’s Hospital and Canuck Place Children’s Hospice

The Clinic was developed in response to gaps noted in BC pediatric palliative care services.

Through Madison Clinic, families have another option for services without being admitted to either the Hospital or the Hospice.   It is also an effective way to follow children after treatment changes post-Canuck Place admission.
