Please join us for the Canucks for Kids Fund Telethon presented by Chevrolet Sunday, March 14th, 2010, when the Vancouver Canucks face off against the Calgary Flames at GM Place.

Broadcasting live on Rogers Sportsnet starting at 6:45pm and TEAM 1040 starting at noon this emotional night will feature stories about Canuck Place Children’s Hospice and the children and families that rely on our program.

Adventure Challenge

2010 Innovative Fitness Canuck Place Adventure Challenge Sept 11th, 2010 Deep Cove, North Vancouver

Registration is open for this year's highly-popular outdoor fundraiser.

This exciting adventure race features trail running, mountain biking and kayaking.

Participants race solo, or as a team of two or four or relay style (long course only), and receive an 8-week training protocol prepared by Innovative Fitness, weekly instructed trail running and mountain biking classes along with 2 kayaking clinics.

Radiothon

Kids and Teens Course (5-16 year olds)

Canoe, bike and run around Deep Cove. Racing in pairs with 1 chaperone, children will race a shortened version of the Adventure Challenge course. Approximate race length 1-1.5 hours. $500 pledge minimum per child.

Under 5 Run and Tumble

Run or stumble around Panorama Park, crawl through a tunnel, throw a water balloon and cross the finish line!

By donation (suggested donation $20) – register event day.

Corporate Challenge

Put together a team of co-workers, raise the most money in this category and take the trophy to your office for bragging rights for the year!

Olympic Spirit Burns Bright for Canuck Place Torch Bearers

As part of the 2010 Olympic Torch Relay, various Canuck Place families, staff and supporters helped carry the Olympic Flame as it made its journey to the opening ceremonies.

Torch bearers included Canuck Place kids Kaden Thomas and Myles Mitchell, Canuck Place staff Janie Burns and Laura Fielding, Canuck Place father Tony Lenaric and long time supporter Tony Harris.
