Thank you for your interest in supporting this year’s Gift of Time gala!
Please indicate below your first and second choice of role for the evening and note that roles and responsibilities may shift and change as we get closer to the Gala. Most roles also include some other duties as assigned or you may be asked to support in another area once your primary role has been completed.
The health and safety of our guests and volunteers is our top priority so we will be strictly adhering to all Provincial Health Office guidelines. You must be fully vaccinated in order to volunteer at this event. Volunteers will also be provided with a mask to wear for the duration of the event. Thank you for understanding and helping us keep our our children and families and our Gift of Time community safe.
Some roles require the use of technology
Please note that the roles related to registration, raffle sales, and silent auction require the use of technology so please be sure you will be comfortable using tablets and new software before signing up for one of these roles.
The majority of roles start at 4:00pm and will end between 10:30pm-1:30am. We also offer a late shift starting at 9:00pm for those who can’t make it for an earlier start time or simply want to help with the post-event rush and clean up.
This year’s orientation will take place at 5:30pm on Thursday, October 21 at the Parq Vancouver. The orientation is mandatory for all volunteers to ensure you receive proper training on our COVID-19 protocols.
We will connect with you as we get closer to the event with and all of the details you’ll need to know for the Gala!
