Follow Liz Rose’s Seventh Summit
UPDATE: Liz has completed her climb, making her the youngest Canadian ever to reach the peak of each of the Seven Summits
“It feels surreal to have achieved my goal of climbing the highest summits in the world, with all of this starting out as a hobby I did with my parents. I feel so lucky to have been able to share this last climb with my family and friends, it has made this journey a truly special experience,” said Liz “Being able to dedicate my climb to Canuck Place has given my trip a greater meaning and I hope that we will reach our fundraising goal!”
When she completes her climb of Mt. Kosciuszko Liz Rose will become the youngest Canadian ever to complete the Seven Summits, reaching the tallest peak on each continent.
For her final climb, she’s bringing Canuck Place with her! In addition to bringing a flag signed by Canuck Place kids with her to the summit, she’s also fundraising for Canuck Place care!
When you donate your gift will be matched by the Rose Family Foundation & Friends. Help her reach her match goal of $100,000!
Canuck Place helps children and families live in the moment with recreation therapy adventures that donors like you make possible. Last year, over 450 children, siblings and parents attended Canuck Place provincial recreation therapy camps, allowing them to experience adventures of their own and create lasting memories together.
