Resilience at Canuck Place

December 17, 2015

“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do.” — Brené Brown

Since 1995, Canuck Place has grown from supporting one family, to supporting over 600 across British Columbia.

This growth has led to the building of a second facility, the Dave Lede House in Abbotsford.

The phased opening plan began in 2014 with community services and when fully implemented will operate nine patient beds and five family suites, doubling the province’s pediatric palliative care beds.

We’re proud of our growth over the last 20 years, and would not be where we are today without the resilience of Canuck Place staff, volunteers, and supporters. Our future begins now, there are more families who need our support across BC, but we can only reach them with your support.
